An organised view of the assets, the evidence and the choices.
You may be developing a new product line, preparing for an investment discussion, entering another market or trying to understand a crowded technology field. In each case, we start by defining the decision and the information that would make it better informed.
The work draws on patent information, relevant non-patent literature and the context you bring from the business. We help separate useful findings from an impressive-looking volume of data, and connect the analysis to a practical set of next questions.
How we can support you
- IP portfolio and priority reviews
- Patent landscape and technology analysis
- Patent and non-patent literature research
- Technology and product roadmapping
- Commercialisation and market-readiness support
- IP input for funding and investment preparation
How the work fits together
- 01
Map the starting position
We organise the product priorities, known IP assets, agreements, markets and upcoming decisions into an agreed brief. Where information is incomplete, the gap is made explicit rather than filled with an assumption.
- 02
Investigate what matters
The agreed work may involve a patent landscape, a technology review, focused literature research or a portfolio assessment. Questions about ownership, relevant rights and competing approaches are considered within the defined scope.
- 03
Turn findings into priorities
We help connect the findings to a roadmap for further investigation, protection, maintenance or commercialisation. For a funding or investment exercise, the IP work can inform the materials without promising approval, funding or a particular commercial result.
A portfolio review should be connected to an action.
For each asset or technology area, ask what business activity it supports, what decision is coming next and what information is still missing. That makes it easier to discuss maintenance, further protection or specialist due diligence without treating every item as equally important.
A useful brief for our first conversation
- The product, market or investment decision you need to make.
- A high-level view of existing IP, relevant agreements and known information gaps.
- Your priority markets, working timetable and the people who will use the findings.
We agree the questions, outputs and responsibilities before the work begins. Analytical findings inform judgement; they are not a promise of investment, regulatory approval or commercial success.
Services, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement. Jurisdiction-specific regulated work and local representation involve appropriately qualified practitioners where required. General information is not advice on a particular matter, and no search, application or commercial result is guaranteed.
